I’m so excited to be a part of the February Rooms We Love Home Tour with 19 other bloggers! If you’re coming from Summer’s blog, I wanted to say that I’m glad you’re here! Wasn’t her space soooo gorgeous?!
After Christmas, I have been on a little decorating funk. My house is a jumbled mess, and it has no idea what holiday/season it is! Even though spring is still a month away, I’m so ready to bring that season into my home! The first thing I did was replace all the winter greenery in my sea glass vases to pink and white tulips. That simple change made my living room bright and happy 😉
I’ve accumulated these sea glass vases over the years, and I just can’t help it! I’m just obsessed with that color!
The room that I wanted to focus on for this Rooms We Love Home Tour is Johannah’s bedroom. I just have so much fun decorating her space! I got a few pink items for Valentine’s Day, but never actually decorated for the holiday. (remember, when I said I was in a funk?) I still wanted to keep the products, and I knew Johannah’s room would be perfect for it! You can never have too much pink in a little girl’s bedroom!
The window frame and wreath might look familiar to some of you. That was actually in my master bedroom above my bed for the longest time.
I’m so excited to have this wonderful piece of furniture from Aronson Woodworks! Isn’t it gorgeous?! I had the pleasure of seeing their workshop and see all the beautiful furniture they’re creating. They have so many wood finishes to choose from too. My favorite piece was this Timber Bench …look at that natural wood edge!
Anyone else have a ton of pillows? I have so many that I could have a whole closet of just throw pillows! I can’t help it though… pillows are a great accent piece to any room!
I love the teepee in her room, but I’m thinking it’s time to move it to Sebastian’s bedroom. I have plans of changing a few things in Johannah’s room, so stay tuned for more blog posts in the future of updates!
That pink chunky wool blanket was a birthday gift from my kids. I’ve always wanted a chunky wool blanket like this and almost ordered a cream colored one. I was so surprised when I got this because I never hinted to Nick that I liked these blankets. I guess he just knows me that well 😉
